To those who shout so and so is Munkir of Auliya and Gustakh e Rasool peace be upon him

  1. Shaykh Nazeer Husayn Muhaddith Dehalwi said:

I wrote while refuting a fabricated narration:

As for the status of generous Prophet peace be upon him then indeed it is eminent and superior in the court of Allah and he (peace be upon him) is not in need to prove that from any fabricated narration. This narration is declared fabrication because it is fabricated not because May Allah forbid someone is munkir of Jahe Rasoole Arabi May my mother and father be sacrificed for him peace be upon him. Allah himself says: :And (We) raised high for you your repute. [94 : 4]. Nabi Kareem peace be upon him is the one who is leader of the holy group of Anbiya peace be upon them all, hadi of Khayr al Umam, who will intercede for Momineen on the day of Judgement and leader of the caravan of al Rahman in Jannah..

[al Daleel al Mahkum fe Nafi Athar al Qadam, urdu translation p 36]

2. al Alusi Kabeer said 200 years ago:

A person who was asking help from dead by saying: “O So and so help me” I said to him: Say “O Allah help” as Allah says in al Quran:

“And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.”[2″186] He became angry and It has reached me that he says “so and so” is munkir of auliyah. [Ruh al Mani under surah az-Zumar verse 45]

3. Ibn Taymiyah and Tazeem of Prophet peace be upon him

Abu Hafs al Bazzar (d 749 h) said:
He would send durood and salam on the Prophet peace be upon him whenever he would mention him. NO BY ALLAH I HAVE NOT SEEN anyone who did Tazeem of Messenger of Allah peace be upon him more then him, neither anyone who was more eager to follow the Prophet peace be upon him. [Munaqib Ibn Taymiyah by al Bazzar page 28]

4. What does Ta`zeem means?

Al-Qaadi ‘Iyaad (may Allaah have mercy on him) taught us by saying:
It should be noted that revering, respecting and venerating the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is required after his death, just as it was required during his lifetime, by showing respect when his name, is mentioned, (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), when you hear his hadeeth and Sunnah, when reading his seerah (biography); it also includes showing respect to the members of his household and his companions. [Al-Shifa fi Ahwaal al-Mustafa (2/40)]

Ta`zeem never means to ask him for help, to take the mud of his grave, to touch the grave for tabarruk etc.
