𝟏. ʿ𝐀𝐥ī (رضي الله عنه) 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 ʿĀʾ𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐡 (رضي الله عنها).
Adh-Dhahabī narrates that Kulayb said:
انتهينا إلى علي رضي الله عنه ، فذكر عائشة ، فقال : خليلة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم .
هذا حديث حسن . ومصعب فصالح لا بأس به . وهذا يقوله أمير المؤمنين في حق عائشة مع ما وقع بينهما ، فرضي الله عنهما
“We came to ʿAlī (رضي الله عنه) and mentioned ʿĀʾishah. He said: ‘𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐞 (𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐥ī𝐥𝐚𝐡) 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥ā𝐡 (ﷺ).'”
Dhahabi then comments:
“𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 ḥ𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 (𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝) 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Muṣʿab is ṣāliḥ (righteous); there is no issue with him. This is what the Commander of the Believers (ʿAlī) said concerning ʿĀʾishah’s right, despite what occurred between them. May Allāh be pleased with them both.”

ʿĀʾishah (رضي الله عنها) said upon the martyrdom of ʿAlī:
يرحم الله عليا ، إنه كان لا يرى شيئا يعجبه إلا قال : صدق الله ورسوله
“𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐥ā𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐧 ʿ𝐀𝐥ī. He would never see anything that pleased him except that he said: ‘Allāh and His Messenger have spoken the truth.'”
[Ibn Kathīr stated: “Its chain is ṣaḥīḥ (authentic).” [Al-Bidāyah wa al-Nihāyah, Vol. 10, pp. 566-568, Musnad Aḥmad [2/86]: Shuʿayb al-Arnaʾūṭ graded its chain as “ḥasan (good).]
